If you are here you must be wondering, what roofing materials can be steamed safely with low pressure steam. The easy answer is ALL roofing materials can be steamed safely without damage. We have not come across any roofing material that cannot be steamed with low pressure steam.
Since low pressure steam has no cutting power it can be safely applied to all materials without fear of damage. Low pressure steam is so safe and gentle it will not even cut through the most delicate materials such as painted Styrofoam or salt filled pantyhose. See Here. Steam is atomized water and therefore has no cutting power like high pressure water. Low pressure steam has been tested on virtually all kinds or roofing materials. We have yet to hear that low pressure steam has ever damaged roofing materials. Avoid high psi hot pressure washers on your roof by learning the differences!
